3 player scenarios?

Has any come up with any custom scenarios for 3 players or had a a good experience with modifying an existing scenario? Ive played games where 2 players control two smaller armies on the same team. But every time I tried free for all style games on a square table, someone gets screwed on deployment (among other problems).

I've played a couple 3 person games of DZC. Big thing to remember to do is not use table quarters for all 3 players. One player gets a middle section the other 2 corners. That way no one is stuck in the middle of a corner fest and killed by accident instead of design (i.e. they are the only target in range by both sides so get smoked).
