Reports from Asgard

Myself and Darthgus (my regular opponent up north) are running a big narative tree campaign of both Dropzone and Dropfleet, playing 1 game a week while we're both avaliable.

In addition to this, I decided that writing up "thematic" reports would be a fun twist. So far, the opening game (DzC recon) was a UCM victory, and the second (1000pt DfC) was a Scourge victory.

I've included the first 2 reports. More to come in about a month when we next play (DzC) I might do proper battle reports with little in character openings/closings as I have done in the past.

Brutal. I am so in love with that fluffy kind things. It is really great. Good work.

I'm super gutted i'm not about for the next few weeks (the dreaded real life has challenged me to 4 games of "exams") to play the next few games, but we'll get the campaign done over the summer. Darthgus has a little bit of scourge ground forces in addition to PHR, so we get a bit of variety in there.
The reports are super fun to write though (my paper copy of report 1 has "Lost with all hands" written next to the lost capital ships)

Clearly Asgard is cursed because my Batlefleet Asgard got decimated. Very cool layout, look forward to more of the same.

Cheers! Just use bank gothic (size 14) for the title, then a size 12 font for the body (that's the naval report standard, I looked it up.
The watermark is probably the biggest determining factor in the presentation, and doesn't take much effort.

Another update, this time from the newly promoted Brigadier Helburn (sorry if i'm treading on toes dave!)
At this point, the campaign is 3 games to go, and tied. Next match is 1500pts surging strike (UCM vs PHR)
