Curious which Dropship this is supposed to fit in or if not how it is supposed to work in the game.

Fluff by bigger scale! in Dropfleet this littel Titan is its Droppod itself! crashes into the city and unfolds itself, can land anywhere on the battlefield! ,-) like Droppods of 40K

Or it has its owne hover engines to land smothly ... hm

Iirc the fluff for PHR bulk landers states they are also used for huge walkers (type 6 or 7?), so for gameplay I bet it just starts deployed or has to walk on.

Oh my so much resin! so many guns.

Hades/Nemesis great miniatures and additions. The scourge Annihilator can be so much fun.

First drop and shoot. now... I just hope this is not the start of the Tau Riptide/Imperial knight arms race. Normally I would not dare mention such a grim dark notion, but someone above mentioned the dreaded two numbers and a letter comparison.

Trust in Dave - its what Im telling myself. Lets hope for battle for earth soon.

more happier, it is good to some forward momentum.

The 2nd Edition has kept evolving... Drop and Shoot was neutered a bit, because now you can't load/unload/shoot or unload/shoot/load...

Shooting simultaneously for the whole Battlegroup got reduced to only if the units in a battlegroup shared a transport... which means you can shoot a target with the squad... measure results... shoot again with a different squad mostly like normal...

CQB keeps getting clarified...

These mega-units are akin to Dreadnoughts in DFC, which, while certainly a big change... didn't nullify the meta or make the game entirely centered on ever-evolving larger units. We're going to get 2 variants of a Behemoth per faction and I bet that is all we will see for the next... 3-forever years.

BFE is according to the latest, due out end of Q2 (June) but hopefully sooner.

Hi Gauntlet,

Thanks for the updated info. It will be good to get the new rulebook when it comes out, the upside is I guess it must be quite well play tested.
It will be good to see my war gaming group get back to Dropzone this year after the initial beta rules drop-and-shoot exodus. Im getting tired of treading water with 28mm skirmish games, need that 10mm feeling again.

If you go Google for adepticon files... Their download page has the latest changes to the 2.41 beta rules.

The 10mm itch is a good one to scratch.
