Having now seen both side by side, they both look great. The DeepCut mat is better layed out for the various scenarios.

For the Deep Cut Studios mats, how much better is the mousepad version vs the cloth version vs the PVC version?

Quite a bit.

The pvc mat has a shiny finish that I personally don't feel looks as nice.

The cloth version looks good, but is more prone to sliding around on the table.

I bought mousepad mat from deepcut studios last week and I have some pvc and cloth mat from other sites.

Cloth mat tend to move during games (I am like Godzilla sometimes :D ) but it's cheap and easy to stock.

Pvc mat is cheap and easy to clean but it has a shiny finish that I personally dislike and It's more difficult to stock due you can't fold it.

Mousepad it's my favorite. Scenery keep in position, mat don't move, dice run perfectly on it but it's the most expensive and stock it has the same problem that for pvc mat.

If you want more than one mat and you don't have storage problems, I recommend pvc mat.

I don't have any of the mouse pad mats, but I have two PVC and one cloth. The Cloth is OK, but creases and as has been mentioned slides around on the table. The PVC is great and better in my opinion. Easy to clean, doesn't slide around as much and rolls up nicely back into it's delivery tube for easy storage.

Does anyone know if FAT mat has stopped producing the DzC mats as I cannot find them on their site?

I am looking for an alternative to DCS.

They are hard to locate as they are listed only under the 4x4 mats: http://www.tablewar.com/4x4-urban-zone- ... aming-mat/
