Hey up, this may have been answered previously but i didnt want to search every post and not find the answer!

Do infantry with dodge or tough rolls get said roll outside of cqb? ie. from falling masonry or from flamer weapons for example?

I ask because firstborn seem likely to die very easily when not actually in cqb if they don't get their dodge roll outside of cqb. I also see that sirens get a 3+ against falling masonry so I assume other models that don't specifically state this wouldn't get it.

Correct and yes Dodge is CQB only a Passive save like Destroyers or Evis have on the other hand applies to most forms of damage.

It can be worth mentioning you need about 24pts damage on a building to kill a base of first born through falling masonry.
