Hera unit type in Flight Mode

PostThu Aug 11, 2016 3:01 pm

The Heras profile lists the Type as Vehicle in both Flight and Ground Mode. Since i remember the typing of the Apollo and its implications being subject to intense debate i was wondering if this is correct.

If it is indeed correct, what allows the Hera to actually fly? I'm sure it's not the intention but as i read the current rules it just runs really fast. :P

It is just a mistake in the book. Play it as intended, obviously meant to be an Aircraft for the purposes of its Transition flight mode.

What we need now is the "can it carry objectives in flight mode debate"

Ugh, don't get started on that again. It still makes no sense to me why Gates can carry objectives, but transition units can't. Other than the 'because I said so' factor.

DzC rules are usually pretty consistent, but that one and the weird 'Valkaries can use Angelos A1s but not A2s' thing bugs me (unless that got fixed in Phase 2 book, mine hasn't come in yet).

Tell a lie, they aren't mentioned in the Valkyres rules but are in three Flangelos.
