Painting Competition - September/October 2017

PostThu Sep 07, 2017 4:13 pm

Welcome back to another Hawk Wargames painting competition!

We love to see anything you are working on such as Infantry models, vehicles, spaceships, Terrain pieces, Conversions! The only rule is you can only submit once per competition so make it count. It could be an entire battlegroup, a single model, a cool diorama but the general subject can only be one post.

We will judge which entries we like the most and send the winner a prize!
The overall winner and a runner up will also be featured in our gallery on the Hawk Wargames website. How cool is that? 8-)

The closing date is October the 31st!
Good luck to all of you!

Previous winners can be viewed in the Hawk Wargames Gallery here:

Well since I missed the last painting competition, here is a project I just finished: a Tokyo class battleship for Dropfleet (click for bigger images):

"Devil" Class Destroyer Scourge Prototype. sculpt and kitbash with led. The "Devil" as UCM commanders refer to it is bristling with forward facing plasma emitters, vaporizing and melting through any armor it encounters. As this Scourge commander usually overloads them  Along with bombardment Razorworm torpedoes it can devastate any unprotected colony. Evolved for destruction. https://imgur.com/a/qKBoP

A little bit late for the battlecruisers competition but here is my Akuma!!

I wanted to paint my very colorful pest ships; is a completely new experience for me and I thought some of the colors were not going to marry too well but I'm very satisfied with the results

I cant see any of these pictures. Its Photobuckets advert instead asking you to allow them to market on your stuff with '3rd party hosting'

Anybody else having this problem? :(

Yeah, you can't use Photobucket to upload for online use now.

I'd suggest paying, but their charge rates are extortionate so it's 100% not worth it.

I've been using ImgBB - https://imgbb.com/
