I'm into a lot of the more extreme ends of metal / hardcore, so stuff like Trash Talk to The Locust to Gojira. I am really into my sludge/doom at the mo, and Eyehategod is being played an awful lot...

They aren't my favourites pick per genre, just my favourites. love Beethoven, not so fond of Mozart. Love Iron Maiden not so fond of most metal, though I do like Guns N Roses. Like most jazz-funk but Jamiroquai is streaks ahead of the rest at the moment. The Police are a lifelong favourite, the only odd one out are the Jive Aces, who just happen to be the jazz-swing band I happened to get to listen to, I don't have an actual favourite, possibly Buddy Rich given a push, but I don't listen to him much.

Others I forgot to mention:

Sisters of Mercy - definitely should have been on my orginal list, and I don't generally like most other Goth stuff at all.
Brand New Heavies and Incognito - Betraying my only genre preferences.
Wagner - but only some of it, Wagner can get long and boring but definitely has his moments. Tannhauser esp.
