It looks cool but I can't really see it in DzC.

the rules would be tricky, but i can totally see something like that mounted on a gladii chassis.
If my avatar seems oddly familiar it is because it is from Advance Wars.

It's cool, and looks a lot like a taranis, but i think it could work for a ucm unit if they changed the look a bit.

The Taranis needs some love. The UCM have the versatile and powerful Longbow already. That unit does not need any buff.

Neinneinneinneinnein!

NEIN!

Long range flame is not what this game needs. Infantry are vulnerable enough as is, with falling masonry in the form it is.

Any addition of meaningful long range flame would have be countered by an equal reduction in the power of falling masonry, making DEMO an all or nothing tactic for objective denial.

Look at the Raider and how much pressure it exerts on a table, and then imagine a unit of the things.

It would be nightmarish without huge balance tweaks to the entire game.

And it's a 4 shot, ac 6+ weapon.

That's WHY it has that statline, and I think it's a slap on fix for an underwhelming weapon platform.

(The point being, a dedicated flame unit with higher power would be even more troublesome and scary)

Yeah I'd be happy with any further long range flame weapons in the game. Falling masonry is already brutal enough.
