ERUPTING BATTLEFRONT AND NUKE

On scenario section states that the player applies -1 PV for each time he destroys a sector with a nuclear weapon unless the scenario states otherwise.

In the scenario of ERUPTING BATTLEFRONT you need, partially, to destroy sectors to obtain PV. If a sector is destroyed with nuke how do you count it? 1 PV for destroying it and -1 PV for using nuclear weapon (ie 0 PV) or does not apply -1 PV since the scenario states that sectors must be destroyed?

What do you think?

I'd interpret it as 0 VP as you speculated.
From a rules perspective, the scenario doesn't say anything about nukes specifically, so the normal nuke rules apply in addition to the scenario rule.
From a fluff perspective, nuking a sector is still bad.

Yeah, it doesn't say to nuke the sector, just that you need to destroy it. Regular Orbital Bombardment should accomplish this...

Right now none of them. They are used to reduce the enemy scoring on a cluster you will never be able to get back after you win the battle in space. With the tournament rules suggesting you remove a VP from a cluster per sector destroyed it is a valuable tactic if they have hot dice on the ground or you lose your troop deployment option early.

For the question I agree that it is a net 0 VP for using a nuke.
