OB DfC Battle Report and First Impressions

PostMon Nov 14, 2016 1:40 pm

I've never been in this part of the forum before, it's all new and shiny and spacious!

We decided to put together a quick battle report between Joe (UCM) and myself (Scourge), 1000pts Take and Hold (Column), and follow up with our first impressions of the game. This is something very new to us, so let us know if you like the format and want more vids!

At work so will look when home. Only had 1 game myself. (and i was GM instead of actually playing as was the only one who had read the rules) so all battle reports are useful and interesting to help give me perspective

Nice. I think apart from the bigger 4x4 table the different approach types are a game changer.

Watched last night thanks. Not sure about the stop motion type bits of the turns in action. I couldnt tell what was going on so there was almot no reason to show any turns and just do the recap. I think I'd prefer a bit more detail or view of the turns unfolding.

See, that's funny, I liked the stop-motion of the turns. It could go a wee bit slower, but it gave me an idea of what was happening so that when they re-capped it was just filling in the details, and giving opinions/impressions...

Maybe slowing it down wpuld help. It just went so fast i couldnt tell where things had mo ed to and from.

I did like the stapler move across the board though. Lol
