Last night I started to experiment with a paint scheme on my Shaltari. The original plan was to try to achieve a look that resembles a deep-sea creature or a jellyfish.
It did not turn out exactly how I had envisioned them but still somewhere close to what I had originally planned.

This is how they look now(under crappy photo light…).
Im not sure how I should continue, but some silver is planned and the flat panels should be given an different color to make them stand out a little, maybe orange or yellow.

Engel! Very happy to see you on here. I'm a big fan of your Skaggslavfantasy project over on LAF (and your blog).

Your Shaltari look promising too, although it's a bit hard to make them out in these photos. Look forward to seeign more.

Very nice!

From the fluff, Shaltari like their vehicles with bright colours to attract attention of the enemy. Glory in battle!

....I'm thinking of paiting my "solar panels" with glossy varnish to make it more shiny!

Cheers,

Love the colour scheme. The two tone effect works great!

Looks great! Like creepy alien flesh.

The bright orange of the lift vanes is very striking too. Could you share how you did this effect? They look painted then inked, but how did you maintain such a bright color after inking?
