Cheers guys, ok, here we go.

Silver Bus

1- Airbrush the Bus Model Air Chrome
2- Paint the bottom, wheel hubs, slats and grills over the windows, door on the left side and ram in Gun Metal
3- The grey panels in Mechanicus Grey
4- Paint some panels in Catachan Green
5- Paint the panels on the top Regal Blue
6- Turn to page 59 of reconquest phase 1, and wash the blue bits in Gulliman Blue(or equivalent)
7- Wash the entire model in Nuln Oil/medium mix

8- Highlight and weather the armour panels in the usual method
9- Paint the rusted panels in the usual method
10- Highlight blue panels in Calador Sky then weather the panels in the same method of the armour panels

11- Use the pic's of the battle bus on line to see where next weathering steps look like
11a- Water down Smoke and selectively weather parts of the bus
11b- Water down Skragg Brown and selectively weather parts of the bus

12- Paint some black panels and highlight them in the usual way

Yellow Bus

1- Airbrush bus in Yerial Yellow
2- Airbrush the top in Pallid Wytch flesh
3- Again using page 59 paint the black lines on the side in black ;-)
4- Paint chrome bits on page 59 in chrome
5- Paint underside, wheel hubs, slats and grills in Gun Metal
6- Paint the bars over the grill in Chrome
7- Paint some panels Catachan Green
8- Wash the yellow parts Agrax Earthshade/medium
9- Wash the rest(apart from roof) in Nuln Oil/medium
10- Line in the gaps on the top in Nuln Oil

11- Weather and highlight the panels in the usual method
12- Sponge weather the top in Smoke using the web image as reference
13- Selectively apply glazes of Skragg Brown onto the top of the bus
14- Selectively sponge weather smoke on bits of the yellow body of the bus
15- Selectively apply skragg and Smoke glazes on the yellow body of the bus

Paint lights on the front of the bus in Yerial Yellow, highlight them by adding white and yellow. Paint a white dot in the top left corner then Gloss Varnish. Paint the Red lights on the back in the same method used on previous models.

Again always use the pics on the web site as a point of reference, and above all, have fun :-)

Hello there! I'm back, remember Mee? No? Sod off then :cry:

Got back into painting some Dropzone after another long pause, I was adding a door and a glass shelf to my cabinet, seeing all my Resistance looking pretty made me get some models and start'a paintin.

So first, my limited edition Battle Bus!

While the school bus in particular is amazing, my favorite models are the Gun Wagons. They really exemplify the "we made it work" aesthetic of the Resistance.

More W.I.P's, my air support is nearly done now. Just a matt varnish and finishing touches left to do.
