Looks great, boss!

One little problem with your dropships, tho: The red and green "running lights". You've got them backwards. It's " Red Right Receiving", so looking at them head on the red light should be on the right and the green light on the left.

Just, y'know, thought you'd want to know... You being a Kiwi and all, I thought you were all sailors... That's what I was told when I was down there and you'd nicked the America's Cup... bastards...

:D

Yeah, just noticed that myself. Got it right on my UCM though, so this probably comes down to base painting the lights near midnight. Easy fix though.

What process did you use to paint the panel lines?

It's just a thin wash, Secret Weapon "Stone" on the UCM vehicles, and Secret Weapon "Dark Sepia" (which is hard to find here right now) for the PHR. It's just a fine brush and a relatively steady hand. On smaller sections of venting without other detail nearby I'll just do a straight, but still tidy, wash over the area.

Nice.

I don't like the bases on the walkers, personally, but that is definitely to taste...

We have some issues with table stability at times (well, it once got bumped and everything not based fell over, so yeah, lesson learned).

Anyway, thanks. Now to build it up to 1000 points. Zeus, Hyperion, 2 Apollo-A's and another Neptune incoming. Or at least in the resin.

Absolutely beautiful...

I like the "softness" (no idea what to call it) of your color choices - distinct colors but with a soft blending effect. Nice

As far as bases go - I think the clear bases are a good compromise between stability, optics and game mechanics.

I once borrowed an army that was based on the typical round "Space Marines" bases. Too high, ugly and you had trouble positioning the units next to each other.
Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man ON fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...
