BlackEd's DropZone Commander Projects -- City of Angels

PostSun Feb 12, 2017 11:07 pm

I ran a DropZone Commander demo game at AdlerCon on january 28th, in Manchester NH, USA.

Here's some pictures of the my board, City of Angels:

I'm very happy with how this one came out:

I used the techniques that were on another topic, which I can't find now. If anyone knows which topic, please reply with a link. I a bit bummed that I can't find it now!

I hope you like what you see!

Really nice! Is it the Hawk terrain pack you have modified or have you printed them?

Either way a tutorial would be nice.

I found the source of my inspiration:

Flash's mini ramblings, check out pages 3 & 4. Thanks GcFlash!

My DropZone Commander was on the local TV channel. Here's the link: http://www.wmur.com/article/table-top-g ... er/8663530

The spot starts and end with my City of Angels. I'm the guy in the Star Wars vest.

Thanks, J.D.!

Egge, do you still want me to do a tutorial? GcFlash did a great job in his topic, but some of my buildings are very modified and use additional construction techniques. I started with the cardboard buildings in the CityScape sets -- I have two, plus what came in the two player starter set. I still have many buildings that I haven't built yet.

Great mods on the "standard" buildings!

Cheers,

Really like what you did with the standard buildings! Definitely some good inspiration for when I finally settle down and can build a table.
