Hello from Austria

Hello all,

I am new to DFC but have been following since day one of Hawk Wargames. I will get into DFC asap. Currently selling all my x-wing stuff to buy the DFC 2 Player Starter + UCM and Scourge CMD Cards.

There does not seem to be a DFC dedicated community in my area so I'll try to run some demo games with my private gaming group and try to do some demos in a local game store.

That's it so far. Looking forward to actually play this game.

If you think you'll be doing even a moderate amount of demos, and possibly organizing tournaments, you might want to look into becoming a Talon.

You state that you have played X-Wing, have you (or your group) any other experience with spaceship or naval games?
I know Austria is landlocked though Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire have a fair amount of naval history to draw from. If you are trying to promote you might want to go splashy and spectacular.
