DFC: PHR Fleet List 1250 max Launch

Hi i am Back

So soon ill join a tournament, and i am gambling with a max Launch list!

Well i know, that this list is short on Drop power, very short. Byside this i hate ships slower than 10" (only exception is the troopships, because there is no option)

But well maybe you have some ideas, i just want to keep it at 15 Launch at all Cost.

With that being said not much can be changed - imho obvious improvement would be getting rid of the Scipios and using Bellerophons instead freeing up some points. Also I'd get rid of the Ganymede and use another Orpheus.

Do you know what scenarios you will be playing? I am mostly thinking of how the ships enter the battle field.

I think it is an interesting list. I would consider splitting the Andromedas across two battle groups since you know have 7 frigates in one group which is not very flexible (ships of the same type must keep coherency). I would add some of them to another list.

Double scipio is very interesting. I don't like the scipio much, but I also have very little actual experience with it. I think you would be better off with 2 Bellerophon. Speed is not that critical with launch ships, though you do want to get within short range.

I think this list have two weaknesses, though they are not that bad. One is the lack of medium calibre guns. There are some, but not many. This means you realy heavily on launch capacity to target crusiers and above. That is risky because the thing about launch is that everybody else gets to shoot (maybe even twice if you're on long distance!) before you get to bomb. So you have a hard time agains a cruiser-heavy list, I think.

Second weakness is stuff in atmosphere. You have no corvettes (which are arguably not that good, though) and you have a lot of launch as your primary armament. You do have quite a few light broadsides which is the next best thing. but I'm not sure if it is sufficient.

I think it is an interesting experiment, but I also think you will have a hard time against some rather prevalent lists - like strike carrier heavy lists or cruiser-heavy UCM and PHR lists.

I won Fleet Muster 2 with this list: Echoes were very important!

12 Launch for PHR was more than enough. I’m not sure it’s really necessary to go for the cap of 15.

Triple Belle, dual Orphies and a 6-pack of Echoes? Sounds like a realy evil list to me! I like it!

long time i made this list, well i cant tell which i used that time... anymore

but i still dont use a Belle... dont like it
