If your smart, The Echo can be an absolute terror weapon.

Early turns you activate them late/last, allowing them to snipe at anything you tagged with Active Scan and didn't outright murder.
(in my case, BTL victims)

Then when your close enough they go first and dive into Atmo to give opposing Strike Carriers pause for thought,
6 of them can put up a serious blockade over a decent portion of the table.

They make enough of a nuisance of themselves that your opponent either commits to killing them,
or risk them finishing off His Atmospheric assets, then have them pop up behind Him.

I have had realy good use of my Echos. Both as a huntingpack of 6 ships, and as two smaller packs of 3 ships each. Big group threatens larger ships. Alot. And the two smaller packs can threaten a larger area of the board in terms of no-go zones for enemy strike carriers...

Will be fun to combine Echos with the Destroyers... I forsee frustrated enemy commanders EVERYWHERE! :D
